SimSim, Pakistan’s first free digital wallet, recently joined hands with The Cheez Group, an e-commerce power house, to take a huge step forward in the digitization of the economy. These two entities have collaborated to primarily digitize B2B and B2C payments for which an official signing ceremony took place on Wednesday, 27th September, 2017 between Mr. Aurangzeb Khan from The Cheez Group and Mr. Mudassar Aqil from FINCA Microfinance Bank.
The two CEOs discussed future plans for continued progress of digital payments in Pakistan. The sales team at Cheezmall has successfully brought 4,000 B2B retailers onboard who will be enabled with digital financial services via SimSim.
An array of services including QR Payments, Bill payments and Cash management systems will be offered to these retailers. Further plans also suggest reaching consumers via these B2B merchants as well.
Mudassar Aqil, CEO FINCA Bank stated, "We are both happy and excited to be a part of this collaboration which will certainly bring about a very positive change in the industry of Digital Payments. We intend to construct a healthy relationship with Cheez Group which will ultimately benefit the people of Pakistan with convenient and secure digital payments.
